From the late 1970s through to the early 2000s I ran five day residential workshops at The Photographers Place, Duckspool and Inversnaid Photography Centre. To my surprise I began to sell prints. These were large prints similar in price to those on my website. I was always aware that there were often people who would have liked a print but who may have found them to be unaffordable.
So began the 'Bargain Box', a collection of smaller prints at what I felt to be affordable prices.
I always have many such prints. These are first prints exploring a negative, alternative versions or prints for reproduction. The prints are made to the same standard as my final prints, archivally processed and selenium toned.
The 'Bargain Box' has now been re established for my website, a collection of prints selected at random and offered at 'bargain' prices.
The intention is to update the selection at regular intervals.
